APARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The unique, stylish apartment “Cicvárek” is located on the third floor, in the attic above the old brewery (now taproom). The one-room studio with a floor area of 135 m2 is intended more for guests who appreciate design, something different. Provided that you all get on well, it can be enjoyed by a family or a group of friends.
In the middle of the studio there is a large dining table, and at the entrance a niche with a simple kitchen, equipped with basic utensils, a small refrigerator, a dishwasher, a two-burner induction hob and a large remoska cooker for roasting. The apartment has its own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Bed linen, towels, quality shower gel/shampoo and a hairdryer are provided. The apartment also has a washing machine.
There are a total of eight beds in the attic. The apartment has a classic double-bed, 1.6 m wide. Another four beds, with a total width of 3.4 m are non traditionally placed next to each other in an elevated iron water storage tank from the 19th century and are accessible by ladder. Similarly, another narrower double bed, 1.4 m wide, is located in the second water tank. Access to the beds in the tanks requires a certain physical competence, but it can also be done by older children, for whom it'll be quite the adventure.
The industrial design of the apartment has been awarded in many publications on architecture, such as the “Czech Architecture Yearbook 2014/2015”, or “Architectural Conversions”, and was nominated by the Czech Chamber of Architects for the prestigious European architectural prize “Mies Van der Rohe Award 2017” as part of the overall renovation of the Lobeč brewery.
Access to the apartment is by way of a staircase (40 steps, no lift), via the main entrance to the brewery, which also serves as the entrance to the brewery bar. Parking is possible in one of our carparks, about 15 m from the entrance. You can safely park your bikes in a covered shelter in the brewery yard.
The apartment has Wi-Fi coverage, but no TV.
The price of the apartment per night is approximately 2,800 CZK (incl. VAT) when occupied by one to four guests for at least two days, 400 CZK per each additional person. Village Tourist Tax is 5 CZK / person / night. We set our price depending on the date and level of occupancy of the apartments. On weekdays the price is more favorable, on weekends and holidays it is higher. For individual guests, a minimum stay of two nights can be booked. Last-minute dates on weekdays are more affordable. In July and August, only weekly stays are possible from Saturday to Saturday.
If you are interested in eating directly in the brewery, please check the opening hours of the brewery kitchen at the time of your stay. We do not provide breakfast for guests as standard, so the apartments are equipped with kitchenettes.
